Hi Coral

Thank you so much for your beautiful email and for helping us during this time of our need. I definitely believe that mum sent you to help guide us and have you as our beautiful celebrant for the service. No other celebrant could have honoured my mum as much as you did yesterday.

Thank you for running with the whole event that I had detailed in my mind, and helping me bring it to life on the day – even with the perfect rainbow photo that you brought to us. Thank you for your words of wisdom – which helped to keep me calm during my tribute and gave me the strength I needed to say to honour my mother.

I am so pleased with how we honoured her given the restrictions and know that she would have been thrilled to have been celebrated in such a way – right down to my gold dress I wore and the champers and dancing to a song that she wanted played.

The messages I received back were so amazing. Best funeral ever some people wrote. Aunty Mazz said – Bloody Brilliant, probably one of the most beautiful funerals I have ever attended. I cried my heart out and just loved what we had to say. My mother in law who is a staunch Catholic and knew mum said – very moving and tastefully organised. This was a massive compliment from her. My friends sent me photos of themselves with champaign glasses having a toast and we received a video from mum’s friend dancing away to the last song. It really was all so incredible. Everyone has said it came across wonderfully in the live stream and that the funeral was so perfect for mum.

I would love to invite you to the memorial celebration that we have for mum next year. I know that should would love you to attend as much as we would love to have you. I definitely hope that our paths cross again under brighter circumstances.

I would personally like to thank you on behalf of all of the family of Shirley Annabelle Stubbs. Mum’s service was very special, a beautiful and fitting send off to a wonderful mother and grand-mother. Your poise and delivery was so dignified and sincere, we could not have chosen a more suited celebrant.

Thank you also for the time you spent with us planning and offering advice and suggestions for poetry & music, each recommendation was just perfect.

Those that tuned in to the service or viewed the recording commented on how beautiful the service was and how the livestream enabled them to feel inclusive.

Matt & Jeni in the USA were so grateful that this technology was available and commented on how perfectly you delivered the service.
